Smart is the New Sexy: Maria Ressa is Esquire's Sexiest Woman for the Philippines

Esquire magazine has chosen their Sexiest Women Alive this year and its Minka Kelly! For the Philippines, Esquire had chosen our very own journalist extraordinaire Maria Ressa who recently resigned from ABS-CBN as the Head of its News and Current Affairs Division.

According to ABS-CBN News:

Esquire.com said the reason they chose was Ressa was this: "Despite her size, fearless enough to write an eyewitness account of Al-Qaeda."

Ressa responded via a tweet: "Thank you to Esquire for an unorthodox choice. Brave new world."
